203: How to Design a Design Charrette

The session will focus on how to plan, organize and facilitate a multi-disciplinary design workshop for small groups of stakeholders and technical experts. It is not a session about using design charrettes as a public engagement tool. The interactive session will focus on using design thinking as a tool to establish a collective vision; use game-playing exercises to encourage lateral thinking; and use evidenced-based planning tools to arrive at integrated design solutions that balance the interests of a wide variety of stakeholders.
