Aubrey Iwaniw has been involved in transportation planning for ten years with a specific focus on policies and programs that encourage alternatives to driving alone. As a Senior Advisor with Metrolinx, Aubrey leads the Smart Commute workplace program where she plans for and manages 13 transportation management associations that produce measurable results using efficient practices that encourage transportation behaviour change with the 730,000 commuters that are connected with the Smart Commute program. Aubrey has a masters in urban planning from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Metrolinx, Aubrey worked at the University of Toronto Mississauga as the environmental project coordinator where a significant portion of her portfolio was dedicated to transportation planning. Aubrey oversaw the U-Pass negotiation process, the BikeShare facility and planned the campus transportation initiatives. Aubrey is looking forward to making new contacts at the Symposium.
