Daryl Barhart

New Media and Communications Specialist, Corporate Communications, Niagara Region

Daryl Barnhart is a New Media and Communications Specialist with the Niagara Region. In this role, he is responsible for the management and leadership of many citizen input and public engagement programs. He is accountable for the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communications plans for numerous special projects. Daryl holds a Journalism-Print diploma, a post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Victoria, formal public affairs training from the Canadian Forces and is working towards the completion of his public relations accreditation (APR). He has won multiple awards for his work in two-way symmetrical communication.
