Ian Graham is the Director of Planning for R.E. Millward & Associates Ltd. Ian brings 27 years of professional planning experience to the firm’s land use and urban planning projects, which include land use policy research and studies, Official Plan amendments and rezoning applications, commercial and industrial land use examinations, a detailed understanding of zoning by-law legislation and the writing of zoning by-laws. Ian works for clients both in the public and private sectors along with other members of the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Ian was Project Manager (Acting) with the City of Toronto’s City Planning Division working on the City’s new harmonized Zoning By-law, which was enacted by City Council in May 2013. Ian is also Publisher and sole owner of NRU Publishing Inc., a company that publishes three weekly newsletters on planning and development news in the City of Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, and the Vancouver area, respectively. Ian oversees the publication operations both in Toronto and Vancouver and focuses his efforts on growing the circulation and advertising functions of the company. Ian is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Master of Science in Planning) and McMaster University (BA- Geography).
