Jose Luis Hernandez

Vice President, World Council on City Data (WCCD)

Jose Luis Hernandez is Vice President of the World Council on City Data, WCCD. Until very recently, he was the International Secretariat of the ISO Climate Change Coordinating Committee, the ISO Technical Committee on Environmental Management, the Subcommittee on GHG Management and the ISO/TC268 Working Group on City Indicators.
 
Prior to joining the WCCD, Jose worked for the Canadian Standards Association, CSA, the American National Electrical Manufacturers Association, NEMA, and the Mexican Association for Standardization and Certification, ANCE.
 
Jose holds a Diploma on Mechanical Engineering with a major in Energy and has 16 years of international experience on standards development, conformity assessment, project management and consensus building in the city indicators, sustainability, climate change, energy efficiency and electrical safety areas. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
