Kelly Weste is a policy advisor in the Natural Heritage Lands and Protected Spaces Branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry in Peterborough. In this role, Kelly has worked on various policy development including the Provincial Policy Statement 2014. Kelly’s past work experience includes both Conservation Authority and municipal planning positions. Kelly is currently the Vice Chair for Lakeland District and the Chair of the Peterborough area programming committee for Lakeland District. She believes in lifelong learning and engagement in her community. She contributes volunteer time to the Lang Hastings Trans Canada Trail Association and is a volunteer fitness instructor at the YMCA of Central East Ontario.
