Krista has been involved with Healthy Community initiatives going back as far as childhood with her first research project studying the impacts of tobacco smoke on her family. She's been a supporter of the Collaboration for Health & Environment and the WA Toxics Coalition for over a decade. During her 5 years with the Community Health Advisory Board in Island County WA, she completed a research project engaging stakeholders in a multi-generational participatory action research process. Through all her efforts, Krista has been consistent and passionate about ethics and authenticity in processes. Krista holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from University of Waterloo, and MA in Leadership & Training from the School of Leadership Studies at Royal Roads University in Victoria.
