Paul Gorrie is an Architectural Designer with Brook McIlroy, holding both a Masters and Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University. Paul has been involved with the detailed design for projects at Prince Arthur’s Landing, and is currently involved with the detailed design of key buildings and sites for Carl Hall Road at Downsview National Urban Park, design and construction documents for the Barwise Residence, Downsview Hangar Upgrades, design and construction of the new Iroquoian Longhouse at Crawford Lake for Conservation Halton, and green building strategies for the Halton Hills Green Building Strategy and Downsview Sustainable Community Development Guidelines. Prior to Brook McIlroy, Paul worked as a freelance designer in Toronto, as well as a millworker and set carpenter in Montreal. Paul has experience working across Canada on a number of specialized design-build projects. Paul’s experience with new technology and software, including BIM and Augmented Reality, compliment his design aptitude and keep Brook McIlroy on the leading edge of innovation.
