403: Public Engagement and Education on Planning Using Lego®

This session will highlight a Lakeland District program which aims to build awareness about community planning in a fun and interactive manner. The program entails teaching members of the public about planning through the use of Lego®. The goals of the program are to educate people and raise awareness about community planning, get people thinking about how their communities function, engage with community members about works and what may be lacking, explore new ideas for site, district, or community re-design and get people thinking about local government engagement.
