Anthony Smith is an active transportation planner and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expert. He leverages spatial analysis and visualization tools to support walking and cycling network planning, cycling facility design, multi-modal transportation studies, land use and development analysis, environmental assessments and population health research projects. Anthony is a graduate of the Master of Planning program at Ryerson University, where his research linked neighbourhood-scale ‘healthy built environment’ indicators to population health and well-being impacts. Anthony’s goal is to support meaningful community engagement processes and evidence-based decisions that help create great places for people to live, work, and play.
