Kevin Haley is the Environmental Health Specialist with York Region’s Community and Health Services Department. His primary responsibilities are to develop policies and health promotion programs to achieve the requirements of the Ontario Public Health Standards. His work focuses on environmental health including air quality, climate change, built environment and emergency response. Kevin is Co-Chair of the Ontario Public Health Association’s Health and the Built Environment Workgroup and is a member of the EcoHealth Ontario Communications Workgroup. He also was the project lead for the Public Health and Planning 101 online course which was launched on June 13th, 2016. Kevin received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Health from Ryerson University and is a certified Public Health Inspector. He has worked 23 years in public health.
