Principal and Co-founder, PUBLIC WORK

Adam Nicklin, principal and co-founder of PUBLIC WORK, is an OPPI member,  landscape architect and urban designer with over 15 years of experience in the UK, USA, and Canada. Over his career Adam has successfully lead numerous large, multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of complex urban renewal projects.

Adam’s work is focused on the re-imagination of public realm in densifying cities. He has led ground-breaking studies reframing the discussion about the priority of public space, including Midtown in Focus (Parks and Open Space Plan for the Yonge and Eglinton District), and the planning and urban design of Toronto’s Port Lands. Adam is currently the project director for TOcore, a comprehensive study for a new generation of parks and public space to support Toronto’s intensifying downtown core.
