Ryan Falconer

Transportation Consulting Leader, Arup Canada

Ryan leads Arup's Transportation Consulting business in Canada, based in Toronto. A geographer by training, he has work experience across Australia, New Zealand, China, North America and Canada. In 2013, he received Consult Australia’s Future Leader Gold Award and in 2014, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia’s Young Professional of the Year Award.
 
Ryan is both assisting with ULI’s Electric Cities initiative and a member of the Autonomous Vehicles Working Group. Additionally, he sits on the Toronto Region Board of Trade's Infrastructure Committee.
 
In July 2016, he was a panelist at the Automated Vehicles Symposium in San Francisco and in September 2016, a sponsored participant in the Smart Cities in Focus conference in Yinchuan, China. In November, he is presenting to the NXTCity Symposium and Transport Futures Summit on smarter mobility and its influence on cities.
