Sheila is an urban designer in City Planning at the City of Toronto. Her work is city-wide and includes guidelines and standards, designing and constructing green infrastructure projects with Toronto Water, coordinating interdivisional working groups, community outreach, and the development of innovative work such as the Green Streets Technical Guidelines, Street Tree Triple-Bottom-Line Benefit-Cost Analysis, and Adopt-a-Street-Tree program. Sheila strives to integrate best practices in planning and designing a more resilient and vibrant city. She represents the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects on the Green Infrastructure Ontario Coalition, and City Planning on the Toronto Cancer Prevention Coalition / Toronto Public Health's Shade Policy Committee.
