Toronto’s suburbs are increasingly multicultural. Does this ethno-cultural diversity enact the Canadian dream of multiculturalism? What does this diversity mean for the growing communities? What challenges do ethnic communities face when creating new identities and new meanings to the existing neighbourhoods? What are the present place-making indicators pointing to future transformation?
