Planning for First Nation Communities is different than planning for neighbouring municipalities. It is understood that there are cultural differences, but should planning principles differ? First Nation Communities have varying languages, traditions, geographic locations, land bases, land laws, governmental structures and treaty rights which make them unique and complex.
