604A: The LaSalle Boulevard Corridor Plan and Strategy

The City of Greater Sudbury recently created a new vision for LaSalle Boulevard and adopted a range of tools and strategies to realize this vision. As part the city's Nodes and Corridor Strategy, the LaSalle Corridor Plan and Strategy examined ways to integrate high-quality intensification, support public transit, provide new active transportation infrastructure, and identify opportunities for private and public realm improvements. This session will detail the tools and strategies, reflect on lessons learned, and outline the next steps the city will be taking to transform the corridor.
