Kelly Weste is a policy advisor in the Natural Resources Conservation Policy Branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry in Peterborough. In this role, Kelly has worked on various policy development initiatives including the Provincial Policy Statement 2014, Coordinated Plan Review and the Wildland Fire Reference Manual. Kelly’s past work experience includes both Conservation Authority and municipal planning positions. Kelly is the past Chair for Lakeland District and the Chair of the Peterborough area programming committee for Lakeland District. She believes in lifelong learning and engagement in her community. She contributes volunteer time to various organizations, including being a volunteer fitness instructor at the YMCA of Central East Ontario.
