The 2024 Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) will take place on September 26 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in person at the Hamilton Convention Centre, ON, and virtually through an online platform.
The purpose of the AMM is to receive reports of the Treasurer, Executive Director, Chair, and Chair of the Governance & Nominating Committee.
Nominations & Elections Notification of the call for nominations of Directors was sent to all members and posted on the OPPI website. In accordance with section 3.6.5 of the Bylaw, an election was held to determine the vacant Director positions available on the 2024-2025 OPPI Council. Nominations for the election of Directors at the AMM are received in accordance with Section 4 of the OPPI General By-Law. Additions to the Agenda Under Other Business If you have any items that you would like Council to address at the AMM, we encourage you to send them in advance of the meeting so we can prepare appropriately. Please send in your request to chair@ontarioplanners.ca before September 3, 2024. Proxies by September 19 Voting members who cannot attend the meeting are asked to complete a proxy form on or before September 19 at 5 p.m. through our online form. Voting members include Full, Candidate, Non-Practicing Full, Non-Practicing Candidate, Full (out of province) and Retired members.
