Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
Alice is a Principal of Toronto-based practice Montgomery Sisam Architects and a leading practitioner in the design of care facilities for persons with complex needs. For over 30 years, she has partnered with many of the most progressive thinkers in the industry to define, refine and implement innovative visions for development that support pioneering models of care. Among her most notable collaborations is an 18+ year working relationship with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, with whom she consulted on all phases of the Queen Street Redevelopment project. Building on her extensive knowledge base and rich body of work, Alice has been invited to participate in international discourses surrounding best practice, research and innovation in mental health care and contributes regularly to research-based publications. She was named a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada in 2013.
