Manager, Transportation Planning

David Kuperman is the Manager of Transportation Planning for North York District in City Planning at the City of Toronto, leading area transportation studies and participating in related development review. He has also worked in Transportation Services and closely with the Toronto Transit Commission on localized and strategic initiatives to improve the performance of bus and streetcar routes. Recently, he led work on a framework for evaluating transit priority measures; several transit corridor studies identifying measures to improve travel time and reliability; and the King Street Transit Pilot, which gives streetcars priority by limiting traffic and providing new loading and public realm spaces.

David has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Science in Transportation Technology and Policy from the University of California, Davis.
