Dean Therrien is a Senior Program Advisor in the Modernization of Approvals Branch at the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. He is the ministry’s Brownfields Modernization project manager and facilitates a team of experts to develop and implement approaches, products and activities that support economic and social benefits while maintaining environmental and human health protection. Dean is an advocate for outcome-based project management and partnerships between governments and industry. Dean’s career with the Ontario government spans almost 20 years, at both the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change and the Ministry of Finance. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in Environmental Biology.
