Graham is passionate about leaving the world a better place than he found it and he has been fortunate enough to build a career in sustainability that allows him to apply his skills and experience doing just that. He is responsible for implementing the Greenprint, Markham’s Community Sustainability Plan while overseeing the long-term management of the City’s assets and operation of key facilities. He leads a team of building technicians, engineers and project managers that ensure Markham’s facilities meet the needs of the community in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. He also steers a team that champions the City’s corporate and community energy initiatives, community food and sustainability reporting and outreach programs. Graham has more than sixteen years of engineering and management experience in a variety of industries including; automotive, transit, green buildings, energy management, and local government. Graham has Bachelor of Materials Engineering and Management from McMaster University, and is a Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Energy Manager.
