Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
Jane Welsh is the Project Manager of the Environmental Planning unit of Toronto City Planning responsible for creating new innovative solutions to address sustainability issues and change the way we build Canada's largest city. Work includes the Toronto Green Standard; Green Roof Bylaw; Bird Friendly Guidelines; and the first Ravine Protection Bylaw, Ravine Strategy and Biodiversity Strategy for Toronto. Jane is a landscape architect with a Master's of Science degree in Planning from the University of Toronto and was recently elected to the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects College of Fellows. She is currently President of the Ontario Society of Landscape Architects
