Marcia Garnes is a second year Masters of Planning student at York University, completing a Business and the Environment Diploma from Schulich, and is a graduate of Western University in Political Science. She is enthusiastic to be a part of a professional community whose dedication to balanced planning helps build sustainable, profitable, functional, beautiful cities, and is currently examining these themes in her dissertation as they relate to the planning context in Barbados.
