Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
Narmadha is a Senior Planner in the Strategic Initiatives, Policy & Analysis Section of the City Planning Division. Since joining the City Planning division in 2015 much of her work has focused on undertaking research relating to housing issues, the development of new housing policies to provide for a range housing, and implementing housing polices through development application review. For the past couple of years, Narmadha has also been the planning co-lead for the Open Door for Affordable Housing applications and the Chair of the Regional Planning Commissioners of Ontario Affordable Housing Working Group. Most recently, she has led the development of new policies to address the loss of dwelling rooms to development. Prior to joining the City, Narmadha worked in the private sector on housing and homelessness plans for municipalities across Ontario and other housing need and demand analyses and projects.
