Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
Phil Santana began his career in consulting engineering after receiving his B.E.Sc. from The University of Western Engineering. During this time, he received his Professional Engineer designation while working on projects ranging from transit to bridge design. Leveraging his engineering background he transitioned to land development at Mattamy Homes. This work included the full spectrum of land development starting from land acquisition and Secondary Plan adoption through to engineering design, construction and registration. In 2017, Mattamy Homes created a new division – Sustainable Development. As an ambitious and highly driven individual paired with a long-standing interest in sustainability, Phil made the internal move to become Mattamy’s first Manager of Sustainable Development. Now on the frontier of sustainability, resiliency and innovation for the home building industry, Phil works on initiatives that he is passionate about while being supported by a company who is ready to transform the industry.
