Robert Voigt is Registered Professional Planner practicing for over 23 years in governmental and private sector organizations in Canada and the US. His projects have been recognized internationally in healthy community design, urban access to nature, and community engagement. Robert is known for effectively integrating design thinking and Asset Based Community Driven approaches to his work. Robert is frequently invited as a keynote/guest speaker and to conduct workshops at international, national and provincial conferences. He was Contributing Editor on Technology for the Ontario Planning Journal from 2012 to 2018 and has written over 35 articles included in publications such as Municipal World; APA Journal; and Plan Canada. He also publishes CivicBlogger.com which has been recognized as a TOP 100 Planning Blogs by Feedspot. In his current role as Director of Planning, for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. Robert is designing and developing healthy neighbourhoods of attainable missing middle homes, and helping municipalities and counties craft the tools and strategies to better address their housing and community health challenges across Canada.
