Senior Policy Planner, Official Plan & Growth Management Planning, Building & Economic Development, City of Brampton

Anand Balram has an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Waterloo in Environmental Studies in Planning as well as a Masters Degree in Economic Development. Anand has had experience in environmental planning, policy planning and development planning and helped lead the City of Brampton’s 2040 Vision project where he has championed community engagement and thinking bigger. Today, Anand is working to deliver Brampton’s new Official Plan and various Secondary Plans in the City of Brampton. Anand is a passionate advocate for the environment, enjoys travelling and immersing himself in the cultures of the world (and a proud Bramptonian).
