Engagement and Program Manager - Affordable Housing Strategy, City of Kitchener

Andrew Ramsaroop is the Engagement and Program Manager for the City of Kitchener’s Affordable Housing Strategy. His educational background is a BA in Geographic Analysis and a MPl Master of Planning in Urban Development from Ryerson University in Toronto. Some of his experiences include: commercial real estate and retail research, property management and development, long-range and policy planning research, smart city research, and social planning (specifically around health, and housing). He has a passion for understanding social justice issues, civic innovation, and helping people understand the planning process to make meaningful contributions.  He is also a lifelong learner who is committed to learning more about housing innovation from other experts in the planning profession, and how he can help amplify the voices of advocates and people with lived experience.
