September 21 and 22
2 days, 2 disciplines, 2 ways to participate – defining our professional roles and uniting to build more equitable, accessible and inspired communities.
#2GETHER2022
Anna is an urban planner with experience at scales from the macro level of regional growth planning to the micro level of an individual development. She enjoys working at the intersection between many disciplines to develop plans that are functional, beautiful, sustainable and contribute to social and economic development. She brings perspectives gained from working in diverse contexts around the world, but always tries to ground her work in the local. She is passionate about understanding each community she works in and how planning and urban design can solve issues and improve people’s experience of place. In addition to her professional practice, Anna is an active participant in the planning community in Toronto. She is a part-time instructor in the undergraduate planning program at Ryerson University and is a volunteer with ULI’s UrbanPlan program, visiting high schools and working through a fictional development project with students.
