Benjamin is a Planner at the Canadian Urban Institute where he works on a broad range of applied solutions projects across Canada and spent over 10 years working in social development and LGBTQ2S inclusion. He was a Fellow in the inaugural cohort of the University of Toronto School of Cities and United Way Greater Toronto Leading Social Justice Fellowship, and a DiverseCity Fellow with the CivicAction Leadership Foundation. Benjamin holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Master in Environmental Studies with a Specialization in Urban and Regional Planning from York University.
