Project Manager. City of Toronto

David Fitzpatrick is a Project Manager in Toronto's City Planning Division with a background in land economics and commercial real estate. His core responsibilities include land use policies that pertain to office and retail uses, employment projections, and developing Community Improvement Plans. Recent projects include revisions to the City of Toronto's Commercial – Industrial Façade and Property Improvement Program and the Imagination, Manufacturing, Innovation and Technology Program. He also prepared the office and retail policies contained within TOcore, Toronto's new Downtown Plan. In 2020, he managed the annual Toronto Employment Survey which surveyed 75,000 businesses virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic.

David is a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, a Member of the Canadian Institute, and a Professional Land Economist (AOLE).
