Matthew O’Neil is the Acting Manager of Rapid Transit Coordination at the Region of Waterloo. Since 2015 Matthew has been planning the 18 km LRT extension from Kitchener to Cambridge, completing the transit project assessment process in June 2021. He is passionate about how public infrastructure can make our lives better. Matthew grew up in Cambridge and is raising his four children there.
