Michelle Drake has worked for the City of Kitchener for over a decade. She has primarily spent that time in heritage planning. She believes planners should build a diverse skill set and in that regard has worked in heritage, development and policy planning. She broadened her perspectives on public engagement and the public interest by project managing the City's neighbourhood strategy - Love My Hood: Kitchener's guide to great neighbourhoods. She looks forward to continuing to find new and improved ways to effectively listen, hear and respond to residents as part of the planning process.
