Nathalie Carrier’s strong Vanier and franco-ontarienne roots led her to Vanier, a vibrant, forward-thinking community where people from all different walks of life can coexist. Nathalie brings that same dream-big mentality to the BIA that she harnessed as Manager, Event Production for Ottawa 2017, bringing spectacles such as La Machine, Red Bull Crashed Ice, Picnic on the Bridge and Kontinuum to the capital. As a former TV Producer and Talent Agent she’s no stranger to hard work and exceeding expectations. She’s worked closely with some of the country’s most influential people which has garnered her a unique network of collaborators. For Nathalie, leading the BIA isn’t just about “banners and benches” – it’s about community building with a vision based on what Vanier is, was, and what it has the potential to be.
 
“This community has a long-standing tradition of being diverse and unique,” Nathalie says. “We’re going to harness that, mix in some art, encourage strong business growth, which will allow this beautiful neighborhood to continue to shine.”
