Senior Project Manager - Urban Renewal, City of Hamilton

Phillip Caldwell, RPP MCIP has been a professional planner for over 13 years with experience working in both upper, lower and single-tier municipalities in Canada. Phil graduated from the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning and has since developed extensive knowledge and expertise in urban planning matters including the development of downtown/transit-oriented planning policy, urban secondary plans, the implementation and administration of Community Improvement Plans (CIP) for brownfields as well as experience developing a broad range of creative city building policies through municipal Official Plans.  Phil has previously worked at the Cities of Calgary and Burlington as well as the Region of Waterloo.  Phil is currently a Senior Project Manager in the City of Hamilton’s Planning & Economic Development Department focused on urban renewal initiatives including  responsibility for the City’s CIP’s and brownfield programs.
