Rebecca Condon is an urban planner and land economist who has worked in economic and community development in both the United States and Canada for over twenty years. As a member of the City of Toronto’s Business Retention and Expansion team she supports existing businesses and facilitates new commercial/industrial investment projects. Her previous work has involved the design and development of a micro-lending program, a technology business incubator and the designation of a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). She has participated as an Expert Witness in numerous Ontario Municipal Board, Local Planning Administrative Tribunal and Toronto Local Appeal Body Hearings related to land use planning and land economics. Her work often involves research, policy development and analysis and day to day problem resolution for local businesses. Rebecca is a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. She is also a Professional Land Economist with the Association of Ontario Land Economists and a member of Economic Developers Council of Ontario. Finally she is member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
