Rory

Planner, Community Planning, City of Toronto

Rory is a Planner with the City of Toronto in Etobicoke District and co-lead of the Mount Dennis Planning Framework Study. Acting on the front lines of municipal planning, she has a wealth of experience turning policy into action. Engaging with diverse and interdisciplinary teams she has worked on individual developments in the form of Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plans, and Minor Variances, as well as planning studies to create communities that meet the needs of existing and future residents. Rory is passionate about engaging with community members, stakeholders and partners to turn their ideas for their communities into built realities. 

Rory enjoys engaging in the public discourse around planning, equity and sustainability. In her off-time, she enjoys exploring both the urban fabric and the great outdoors by foot, bike or canoe. She received her Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo's Planning program and is an OPPI Candidate Member.
