Intermediate Planner/Forestry-Trails Coordinator, Grey County

Sarah Johnson (MCIP, RPP) is a Planner with Grey County as well as the Forestry and Trails Coordinator. She has been working in the planning field for 16 years and has experience in both the public and private sector. More recently, her efforts at the County have been focussed on the County’s 45 forest properties and extensive Rail Trail system. These efforts include the completion of the County’s Recreational Trails Master Plan, Forest Management Plan, and the in-process re-drafting of the Forest Management By-law. As part of these initiatives Sarah has worked with her Co-presenter, Stephanie Lacey-Avon, and other Grey County staff to bring the County trails up to date in digital formats that are widely used.
