James Horan

James is passionate about city building and improving the quality of life for people in urban environments.  James started his career as a planning technician after graduating college and subsequently pursued an undergraduate degree from Ryerson and a Graduate Degree from the University of Toronto in Urban Design.  He currently works for the City of Cambridge in the Development Planning Division as a Senior Planner processing development applications and is the main urban design liaison in the office.  James is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and is a Registered Professional Planner.

Away from work, James enjoys spending time with his family and keeping active through cycling, playing golf, curling, playing ultimate frisbee and snowboarding.
