Registered Professional Planner, Artist and Blogger; practicing for over 17 years, with experience in numerous governmental and private organizations in Canada and the US.  Rob specializes in citizen engagement; healthy community design; active transportation; and governance strategies.  He is a recognized leader with provincially and nationally ground breaking projects in urban design, natural playgrounds, active transportation, and community engagement. Robert is a dynamic speaker, often invited to present at conferences and publish articles on these topics with over 30 presentations at regional, provincial, and national conferences since 2011; and has published over a dozen articles for the Ontario Planning Journal; Plan Canada; Municipal World; Strong Towns.org; and Tech Talk. He is the Chair of OPPI’s Community Design Working Group; Contributing Editor to the Ontario Planning Journal; writer for Urban Times; member of PPS' Placemaking Leadership Council; publishes CivicBlogger, and is Senior Project Manager for Cambium Inc.
