204: Planning and Design for Winter Cities - Lessons from the National Capital Region

This session on Winter Cities will focus on building and public realm design to promote use of outdoor spaces in winter conditions. The panel will include National Capital Commission and City of Ottawa staff. Presentations will focus on the NCC's winter architecture and public realm design, winter living in the city’s community design plans and the consideration of winter features in the development approval processes of both the city and NCC.
