This session will explore the role of planning in improving air quality using the experience of the City of Hamilton. Presenters will introduce Clean Air Hamilton and the Hamilton Air Quality Task Force and delineate their roles in municipal planning around air quality. It will introduce participants to the importance of considering air quality in the practice of land use planning and highlight the partnerships and initiatives that have helped to reduce air emissions in the Hamilton.
