Brian has been with the City of Hamilton in the Public Health and Planning Departments since 2005. In that time he has worked with Clean Air Hamilton (http://www.cleanair.hamilton.ca/), a multi stakeholder group dedicated to improving local air quality in Hamilton, and was a member of the Hamilton Air Quality Task Force (2014). He works with the local municipal partners and the community on climate change and facilitated the development of the Hamilton Community Climate Change Action Charter (2011) and Hamilton’s Community Climate Change Action Plan (2015) (https://climatechangehamilton.ca/). He has over 15 years of government experience in the field of climate change and air quality, was a recipient of the Canada’s Canada's 2014 Clean50 Award and a 2013 Hamilton’s Environmentalists of the Year Award of Merit for his work on climate change in Hamilton.
