Dr. Gary Miedema is a Heritage Planner with Heritage Preservation Services, City of Toronto. Prior to joining the City, he served as the Chief Historian and Associate Director of Heritage Toronto, an arms-length, charitable agency of the City of Toronto which works to preserve and promote the city's history. Dr. Miedema has extensive experience working with individuals, communities and organizations to embed stories in the City's landscape.
