Student, Ryerson University

Mr. Liberatore's interest in Planning developed from a young age when he would conceptualize city maps by hand from visual depictions in film and experiences throughout his travels. Growing up on a cul-de-sac in suburban London, Ontario, he would eventually become enveloped with a passion to change those surroundings by pursuing an education in Planning which allowed for him to apply his technical skill and interest in City Building. His devotion for people-oriented design and the impacts of development on quality of life is inspired largely by the progressive work undertaken by famed Danish Urban Designer, Jan Gehl. Mr. Liberatore is a recent graduate of the Ryerson University School of Urban & Regional Planning where he completed his studies with a focus in Land Development, Green Infrastructure, and Public Policy. While at Ryerson University, he was an active member of the Professional Planning community in Toronto as President of the Ryerson Association of Planning Students (RAPS) and School liaison to the Ryerson Planning Alumni Association (RPAA).
