Michi McCloskey currently serves as the program’s part-time Field Ambassador. In 2016, she served as the full-time Field Ambassador. She is a Planner with WSP Canada’s Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Department. Michi holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University and a post-graduate certificate in Interdisciplinary Design Strategy. She has worked on complex, large scale development and policy projects in the GTA, and has participated in numerous community consultation activities and design workshop charrette exercises interacting with local residents and business owners. She has experience working in both urban and rural municipal settings and has gained valuable insight on municipal planning and land acquisition processes from a public sector perspective.
