Ethics for Planners

Today's environment of heightened public scrutiny demands that planners be up to date with their ethical code and professional obligations. This session will use real and potential ethical challenges to illustrate the responsibilities and obligations of planners in relation to colleagues, clients and the public. It will highlight the ethical principles upon which OPPI seeks to advance the profession.
 
Learning outcomes:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the OPPI Professional Code of Practice
• Articulate an understanding of the responsibilities and obligations of planners in respect of colleagues, clients and the public at large
• Articulate an understanding of the types of ethic challenges that present themselves in professional practice and appropriate responses
