Conference 2015

River XING

October 08, 2015

10:15am - 10:30am

This session will focus on reconciling the complex considerations when planning in multi-jurisdictional environments. Using the case study of the Don Valley, the researchers will discuss an evaluative framework developed to investigate the feasibility of establishing a new pedestrian/cyclist/wildlife crossing at four potential sites near the Evergreen Brick Works (EBW). The goal of the project, and the evaluative framework, is to provide a simple, objective, and quantifiable method of outlining and balancing the competing interests faced by municipal planners and their allied professions.
